Castelculier – France
Heir to expertise established in 1949, this historic site has become the SPENGLER MEDICAL Factory. Electronics, sewing, assembly, calibration: every stage is managed in-house by some thirty highly qualified employees.
It is in Castelculier, in southwestern France, that SPENGLER MEDICAL manufactures its medical devices with a MADE IN FRANCE quality standard. Building on the expertise of Dessillons & Dutrillaux, founded in 1949, this historic site has become the Spengler Group’s Manufacturing Plant — a symbol of French excellence in medical diagnostics.
On Castelculier’s production lines, every step counts. High-frequency cutting and welding, sewing, electronic wiring, assembly, calibration: expert hands master every stage in-house, right up to R&D development. This is where the electro-pneumatic tourniquet — the only one manufactured in France — is born, embodying all the site’s expertise.
With around thirty highly qualified employees, the Manufacturing Plant produces cuffs, electro-pneumatic tourniquets, pressure cuffs, and NIBP modules, in compliance with European regulatory requirements.
Driven by strong ambition, the SPENGLER MEDICAL group places Castelculier at the heart of its growth strategy, with the goal of becoming one of the European leaders in the manufacture and distribution of medical devices.
Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat - France
Since 1991, the ECM brand has been designing its patient warming devices here — including warming blankets, cradles, and mattresses — entirely manufactured in France, with total in-house production control.
It is in Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat, in Haute-Vienne, that the ECM brand — owned by SPENGLER MEDICAL — has been manufacturing its patient warming devices under the ECM brand since 1991.
Warming blankets, warming cradles, and warming mattresses for newborns: essential products for patient comfort and safety in hospital environments, entirely Made in France.
Since its inception, ECM has chosen to manage its entire production in-house, thereby guaranteeing optimal quality and reliability for every device manufactured. A rare standard, driven by a dedicated and highly qualified team.
This site is another cornerstone of the industrial strategy of SPENGLER MEDICAL, which is resolutely committed to developing benchmark European manufacturing to serve healthcare professionals and their patients.
Blaubeuren - Germany
From Blaubeuren, LUXAMED® designs and manufactures Made in Germany medical instruments — from prototype design to final assembly. Production is primarily manual, entrusted to highly qualified and passionate teams.
It is in Blaubeuren, in southern Germany, that LUXAMED®, a group company, designs and manufactures medical instruments combining precision, durability, and meticulous design, entirely Made in Germany.
An expert in medical diagnostic lighting, LUXAMED® manages every stage in-house: from prototype design to packaging creation, including assembly and instruction manuals. LUXAMED® uses only high-quality materials and the latest manufacturing technologies.
Manufacturing is primarily manual, entrusted to highly qualified teams skilled in mechanical assembly, metal and plastic processing, welding, and electronics. Subcontracting is used only when strictly necessary, with carefully selected local partners.
