Annual Congress of the French Society of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation
SFAR holds its annual congress in Paris at the Palais des Congrès.
The French Society of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation (SFAR) is a learned society recognized as being of public utility, governed by the 1901 law, created in 1982 by the merger of SFAAR (French Society of Anesthesia, Analgesia, and Resuscitation) and AAF (Association of French Anesthesiologists).
It contributes to the study, advancement, and teaching of anesthesiology and resuscitation. In addition to these statutory objectives, SFAR added the safety of all procedures performed by anesthesiologist-resuscitators in 1988.
