Heart, Exercise, and Prevention

European Forum on Heart, Exercise & Prevention 2026

19th Forum

This forum will be held at Espace Boissière in Paris on March 12 and 13 by the Club des Cardiologues du Sport, an association founded by physicians in 1993.
The objectives of the CCS are to promote sports cardiology and, more generally, exercise cardiology, and to unite cardiologists interested in this discipline.

Its priority areas for health are training and medical research. The primary goal of the CCS is therefore to enhance scientific knowledge of sports cardiology by compiling studies on the acute and chronic effects of physical exercise on the healthy or diseased cardiovascular system.

A corollary of this is to prevent cardiovascular diseases through physical exercise, promoting good heart health.
This year, the forum will address new developments and current topics in rehabilitation, stress testing, sports cardiology, and more generally, prevention.

The best French and European experts will present the latest developments to practicing cardiologists, as well as to those involved in rehabilitation, prevention, and sports cardiology. Paramedical professionals also have a dedicated program, to which they are very loyal. Practical workshops will also be organized this year, as well as a poster session concluding with an award ceremony.

This year, a special session on hypertrophic cardiomyopathy will be organized, for which knowledge has evolved significantly. A session will also be dedicated to the cardiorespiratory risks of COPD, which are not well understood by cardiologists. Difficult cases in rehabilitation will be discussed, along with recent data on the contribution of vaccination in cardiology.
Extreme cardiological situations such as diving, high altitude, and weightlessness will be discussed. There will also be workshops on cardiorespiratory stress testing and remote monitoring.
